Isaiah Z. Simons

Isaiah advocates for clients at all stages of civil litigation. His practice encompasses construction litigation, insurance coverage disputes, regulatory compliance, and the defense of high-exposure personal injury and product liability claims. A proven written advocate, Isaiah secures favorable client outcomes on procedural and dispositive issues through effective briefing and motion practice.

Prior to joining Gass Turek, Isaiah worked at a Milwaukee-area insurance defense firm where his practice focused on the defense of insurance companies and their insureds in a wide variety of civil litigation matters.

Isaiah graduated magna cum laude from Marquette University Law School. While in law school, Isaiah served as a judicial intern for Chief Judge Diane Sykes of the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and an associate editor of the Marquette Law Review.

  • Won a Motion to Dismiss in an administrative action where the complainant alleged violations of Wisconsin’s Public Accommodations Law against client licensure exam producer.
  • Won a Motion to Dismiss a tort/defamation action brought by pro se Plaintiff against client museum.
  • Authored principal and reply briefs in support of Motion for Summary Judgment in product liability case with 8-figures of potential client exposure, leading to favorable client settlement prior to the motion being decided.
  • Conducted sensitive liability investigations into fire loss and explosion incidents on behalf of client insurance companies.
