Stephen has extensive experience representing clients over twelve years in a wide variety of civil litigation matters in both state and federal courts. Stephen’s practice includes cases involving complex commercial disputes, catastrophic personal injuries, and disputes between shareholders and members of closely-held businesses. Stephen regularly represents defendants in professional malpractice actions against doctors, chiropractors, dentists, podiatrists, nursing homes, and other healthcare providers.
Prior to joining Gass Turek, Stephen practiced with Paul Hastings in New York City for five years. At that firm, he represented multiple companies and their boards of directors in shareholder disputes alleging breaches of fiduciary duties and securities law violations. He also represented some of the world’s largest financial institutions in litigation resulting from the credit crisis.
