Following a seven-day jury trial in Waukesha County, Gass Turek attorneys Linda Vogt Meagher and Stephen Trigg secured a unanimous jury verdict in favor of a chiropractor client in November of 2022. The plaintiff alleged that the chiropractor’s neck adjustment caused her to suffer bilateral vertebral artery dissections leading to stroke and permanent disability. The defense argued that the plaintiff had a dissection in evolution when the patient came to the chiropractor and that the chiropractor did not cause the dissection. Linda and Stephen’s courtroom demonstration of the procedure their client used to treat the plaintiff helped persuade the jury.
