Gass Turek attorney Adam Roznowski authored a successful Daubert motion excluding the plaintiff’s business valuation expert in a lawsuit asserting violations of the 14th Amendment against Waukesha County. The result of the motion reduced the plaintiff’s potential damages by more than $5 million, the valuation the expert placed on the plaintiff’s advertising business. The Eastern District of Wisconsin agreed with Adam’s arguments that the expert’s opinions were unreliable as a result of flawed data and valuation methods. Rivett v. Waukesha County, 21-cv-0972-bhl.
